

Dean Harries is employed as a driver with Castell Howell Foods Ltd. In 2008, Dean was registered onto the Apprenticeship in Driving Goods Vehicles to improve his competency as a driver and to obtain an LGV Category C licence. Dean, with the support of his Employer, took advantage of the Basic Skills support offered by LRC Training and boosted his Literacy and Numeracy skills by attending regular workshops tailored to meet his individual needs. Dean’s commitment and efforts have paid off, in 2008, Dean achieved the Entry Level Certificates in both Adult Numeracy & Literacy, in 2009, he achieved the Level 1 Certificate in Adult Numeracy and more recently Dean completed the mandatory Level 1 Key Skills component of his Apprenticeship in both Communication and Application of Number.
Dean is very happy to have been given the opportunity develop his Literacy and Numeracy skills and pleased to have gained recognised qualifications for his efforts.
