Government Funded Training Programmes

LRC Training is an Approved Training Provider and as such is able to deliver funded training under various government programmes.

Skillbuild

Skillbuild is a training programme for adults aged 16–65. It offers a wide range of support including basic skills, motivation, personal development, work experience, job search and a wide range of vocational training opportunities. Courses run from 4-52 weeks dependant on content and learner needs.

Modern Apprenticeships

There are two levels of Apprenticeship available mainly for employed people. LRC Training offers Foundation Apprenticeships in Logistics, Road Passenger Transport and Business Administration. Advanced Apprenticeships are available in Logistics and Administration.

React

React is a package of support designed to provide opportunities to recently redundant workers to gain new skills so they may move back into work as soon as possible.

• Many of the programmes offer additional support such as travel and childcare costs.
• Unemployed learners retain their current entitlements to benefit, plus an additional ‘top-up’.
• Learners aged 16 – 18 on ‘Youth Programmes’ are paid an allowance of £50 per week by LRC Training.
