Level 1 – Customer Service

The NVQ in Customer Service provides candidates with the skills to provide excellent customer service. These skills can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors from retail to financial services and from call centres to hospitality.

Customer Service duties vary between industries, but in most cases, will involve dealing with customers in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints. The programme provides evidence of skills that could serve you well in any industry – so it’s a good way to move forward, even if you’re still undecided about your future career.

Entry Requirements

You are eligible if you are aged 16-18, have left school but you have not yet found a job and are not involved in any other training.
